When I saw the trailer for this movie before Bullet Train in the cinema, I thought it looked really good and was looking forward to watching it. Oh boy did this movie severely disappoint me. Keep in mind that this movie came out the same year as Morbius (which, in my opinion, is the second worst movie of this year, only behind this). Not only is this my least favourite film of the year, but it's also my least favourite film of all time. The writing in this movie was terrible, at times it felt like it was trying to be a cross between Sinister and Creepypastas. The acting was terrible. I felt the characters were really poorly written and didn't add much to the film. The police guy's scene felt like the "I implore you to reconsider" scenes from Kung Pow Enter The Fist (which is a parody movie). Unlike other horror media like Sinister and even the new Treehouse of Horror where I felt at least slightly scared, this one didn't scare me one bit. The movie could be extremely goofy especially within some of the hospital scenes. There were also some scenes that felt like they would have been perfect to build up to a scare but instead just cut into a plot driven scene and making the entire section feel pointless. I also felt the ending to be really predictable. Overall, this is probably the worst movie I've ever seen and I certainly will not be watching it again.
