Cheesy Reviews

Media Name: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Media Type: TV Series Season: 1 Episode Count 10 Release Year: 2022 Series Director:  Hiroyuki Imaishi Production Companies: Studio Trigger, CD Projekt English Network: Netflix Finished Watching: 12th October 2022 My Rating: 8.5/10 I've never actually played Cyberpunk 2077 nor have I played any of the tabletop games but I decided to watch this anime anyway because I love Studio Trigger's anime and the show also looked great. I'd have to say that I really enjoyed it. The animation was really good as per usual Trigger standards. I really liked the music with both the OP and ED being really nice songs. The action was really good along with the writing. The characters were all unique and really well-written as well. One of the bad things is that the ending felt really rushed to me. Some of the major characters died with nobody seeming to care that much and were really brushed over and quite insulting. I also know that this is how it was in the...

Media Name: Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy In Space Media Type: TV Series Season: 2 Episode Count 16 (3 Remake, 13 New) Release Year: 2022 Creator: Natasha Allegri Production Companies: Frederator Studios, OLM Inc Original Network: Netflix Finished Watching: 24th September 2022 My Rating: 9.5/10 (New Episodes) 8/10 (Remake Episodes) This show was what made me watch the original series which if you've seen my review of season 1, you would know that I loved. This season was also amazing. Technically speaking this season is an anime since it was co-produced by OLM Inc who also made the anime adaptations of Komi Can't Communicate, Pokémon and ODDTAXI. I would have to say that the new artstyle is great and works really well for the series. I actually don't have a preference between this season's artstyle and season one's artstyle since they're both great and look really nice. Since season 1 was on YouTube and this season was on Netflix, there were 3 episodes made as remake...

Media Name: Drifting Home Media Type: Movie Release Year: 2022 Director: Hiroyasu Ishida Production Companies: Studio Colorido English Distributor: Netflix Runtime: 2 hours Finished Watching: 18th September 2022 My Rating: 8/10 When I saw that this movie was coming to Netflix, I was really hyped. I've seen two other films by Studio Colorido before (Penguin Highway and A Whisker Away) and I really enjoyed them so it was clear that I would probably enjoy this one too. When I watched it, I really enjoyed it. I would have to say that all of the characters were well-written and added something to the story. The animation was beautiful just like Colorido's previous films, same with the soundtrack. I also found the storyline to be really entertaining and a unique spin on the Isekai genre (which is one of my least favourite genres of anime). It could also get quite emotional in some of its scenes. I wouldn't say it was absolutely perfect however as some characters could get quite a...
