It was terrible. For one thing, there was way too much gross out humour in the movie which could make it uncomfortable to sit through. The writing was also really bad. The characters were also awful. The songs were awful despite being memorable. The majority of the jokes also did not land. The animation was really good though and a few of the jokes were funny. Overall, this movie was awful and I can see why people hate it.

Since then however, I have seen some so I chose to watch it and I'd have to say I really enjoyed it. I felt like the surreal humour in the show was really funny and helped to elevate the show when there was no horror present. Speaking of which, the horror was also really good and it made some of the coolest moments of the show whenever it occurred.
