I really liked the animation, especially within the fight scenes. The writing was also really good throughout each arc. The music is also great. I would have to say that the arc that I enjoyed the most was the Arlong Park Arc which had some of the best scenes out of this entire season. I really like the characters as well, especially Usopp. Basically the only problems that I didn't really like the start of the Syrup Village Arc since I don't really like "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" stories (though I think that it improved as it went on). Media Name:  One Piece: Clockwork Island Adventure Media Type: Movie Release Year: 2001 Director:  Junji Shimizu Production Compaies:  Toei Animation English Distributor: Manga Entertainment Runtime: 55 minutes Finished Watching: 29th November 2022 My Rating: 7/10 Given that the first One Piece movie was not the best in terms of writing, I lowered my expectations for this one. I'd have to say that I enjoyed this one slightly more than the first movie though. The animation was really good though not as good as the first movie. The new characters were a lot more interesting in this movie. The fight scenes were also really well done.  Quite a few of the jokes also were quite funny. Some of the problems were however that at times it could feel like a generic filler plot. I also didn't really like the ending that much either. Overall, while this was an improvement from the first one, it still was far from a great movie.

Media Name:  One Piece: Jango's Dance Carnival Media Type: Short Film Release Year: 2001 Director:  Daisuke Nishio Production Companies: Toei Animation English Distributor: N/A Runtime: 6 minutes Finished Watching: 29th November 2022 My Rating: 7.5/10 Given that this was a theatrical short film that played before the second movie, I didn't know what to expect. I really enjoyed it though. I though it to be really funny. The animation was great and I really liked the music. Overall, while this was just a short film, I still found it to be really entertaining.

Media Name: Half-Life: Blue Shift Media Type: Video Game Release Year: 2001 Developer: Gearbox Software Publisher:  Sierra Studios, Valve Played on: PC Completion Status: Any% Finished Playing: 15th November 2022 My Rating: 6/10 This was the second Half-Life spin-off game that I played and since I enjoyed Opposing Force , I expected this one to also be really fun. It was just ok. Since it had the same engine as the previous two games, I encountered a lot of the same issues. I also found this one to be way too easy. It was also way too short as it took me just over 2 hours to complete. The world design was confusing sometimes as well as there were times where I got lost since I didn't know where to go. Other than that though, I did like the story and sometimes it was fun. Overall, while far from bad, this is definitely the weakest of the Half-Life Goldsource era games. At least the next one is Half-Life 2.
