Media Name:  One Piece: Defeat Him! The Great Pirate Ganzack! Media Type: OVA Release Year: 1998 Director:  Gorō Taniguchi Production Companies: Production I.G. English Distributor: N/A Runtime: 30 minutes Finished Watching: 22nd November 2022 My Rating: 7.5/10 Well, I finally started One Piece and along with the main show itself, I decided to watch all of the movies, TV specials and OVAs, including this one. To say that this was the first anime adaptation of One Piece and it wasn't even done by Toei Animation who made the main show, this was really good. The animation was really great and the cel animation looked good. The music was also nice to listen to. I liked the action. The characters were also really well-written. That being said, it wasn't perfect as I didn't find either the storyline or the villain to be that interesting. Other than those flaws, this was a fun OVA to watch and for a first adaptation, this was really good and goes to show how Production I.G . wou...

Media Name: Half-Life Media Type: Video Game Release Year: 1998 Developer:  Valve Publisher:  Sierra Studios Played on: PC Completion Status: Any% Finished Playing: 12th November 2022 My Rating: 8.5/10 I've had the Half-Life games sat in my Steam library for a while now and despite hearing nothing but great things about them, I only just got around to playing them. I really enjoyed this first one and found it to have aged extremely well. The controls were really good and nice to use. The graphics, to say that they are from 1998, still look really good. I enjoyed using the different weapons and the resource management aspect of the game. The story was also really good. Pretty much the only problem was that sometimes it was difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do. Overall, this was a great game and I'd have to say that it is one of the best games I have ever played and I will definitely play it again.

So I decided to watch the whole show. Goddamn was it amazing. I really enjoyed the psychological aspect of the show which reminded me a bit of Evangelion. The animation looked great most of the time. The writing  and characters were also really good. I loved the music, especially the OP. The show also did a great job of building up tension. Basically the only problem I had with it was that it could sometimes be a bit confusing however most of the time it wasn't. Overall, I'd have to say that this is one of the best a...
