This was the first season of One Piece that I watched and I would have to say that it was a strong introduction. I really liked the animation, especially within the fight scenes. The writing was also really good throughout each arc. The music is also great. I would have to say that the arc that I enjoyed the most was the Arlong Park Arc which had some of the best scenes out of this entire season. I really like the characters as well, especially Usopp. Basically the only problems that I didn't really like the start of the Syrup Village Arc since I don't really like "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" stories (though I think that it improved as it went on). There were also some times where Sanji (despite being really cool in his battles) was annoying when talking to Nami. Overall, I really enjoyed this season and I felt like it was a strong introduction to the show.

I would have to say that this is a really good movie that's not for me. The writing was really good and I felt that the chemistry between Neal and Del was really good. I found some of the jokes to be really funny as well. I also found some of the scenes to be emotional. This might be personal bias because I grew up with the show, but I found The Flintstones scene to be really funny. When I heard that they were making a prequel focused on Tohru's parents, I was really excited for it. I finally got around to watching it when it got put on Crunchyroll. I was a bit disappointed that part of it was a recap though I'm glad that the recap only lasted 30 minutes. The recap did feel largely like it was only there to fill time though.
