I watched the first season of To Your Eternity when it was first airing in spring and summer of 2021 and I'd have to say that I found it to be really enjoyable so when it got close to the start of the second season, I decided to rewatch the first in preparation. I really enjoyed it though not as much as on my first viewing. The best part of this show was the emotional aspect with the deaths of each character being really heart-breaking. The show had some great action scenes paired with really good animation. The characters were all well-written which made any death scenes more impactful. The music was really good with Pink Blood being an especially good song. Some of the problems with the show was that at times it could be quite slow but since that was done to give more time to develop the characters it's fine. Another problem was that it lost my interest in the Jannada Island arc and could get a bit frustrating at times with Fushi (understandably) getting angry at Tonari a lot. Other than those problems, it was a really good show and quite underrated.

I would have to say that this is a really good movie that's not for me. The writing was really good and I felt that the chemistry between Neal and Del was really good. When I heard that they were making a prequel focused on Tohru's parents, I was really excited for it. I finally got around to watching it when it got put on Crunchyroll. I was a bit disappointed that part of it was a recap though I'm glad that the recap only lasted 30 minutes. The recap did feel largely like it was only there to fill time though.
