This show was what made me watch the original series which if you've seen my review of season 1, you would know that I loved. This season was also amazing. Technically speaking this season is an anime since it was co-produced by OLM Inc who also made the anime adaptations of Komi Can't Communicate, Pokémon and ODDTAXI. I would have to say that the new artstyle is great and works really well for the series. I actually don't have a preference between this season's artstyle and season one's artstyle since they're both great and look really nice. Since season 1 was on YouTube and this season was on Netflix, there were 3 episodes made as remakes of the first season with some new scenes added in. I would have to say that while they were fun and the newer scenes were a nice addition, they were largely inferior to the YouTube series with some changes which I didn't like. In terms of the main series, I loved it, it was more of what I loved from season 1 so that made it fun. The characters were really entertaining and I liked that they had more focus on the Wizard family after they only made brief appearances in the first season. The slice of life aspect also continued to be really fun. I loved the surreal tone that quite a few episodes had. The voice acting felt a little more awkward in this season but I think that it added to the charm of the show. Pretty much my only problem with this season was that PuppyCat and Toast could sometimes be annoying though only on occasion. Overall, I would have to say that this is another fantastic season and I hope that it gets picked up for a third to wrap up the cliffhangers created by the final episode.
