I'll be honest and say that this year in terms of the MCU has been disappointing to me but I was looking forward to this one. When I watched it, it was just ok. Maybe it's because I haven't seen any old monster movies that inspired it but I thought it was boring most of the time and not really that scary at all. Some of the scenes in the movie also reminded me a bit of Morbius (which I'd say is the second worst movie of this year). I thought that the fight scenes were good though and the CGI was better than most of the other things from the MCU that released this year. The black and white filter also added to the movie in my opinion. Overall, I was disappointed by this though I wouldn't say its one of the worst things from the MCU.

I would have to say that this is a really good movie that's not for me. The writing was really good and I felt that the chemistry between Neal and Del was really good. I found some of the jokes to be really funny as well. I also found some of the scenes to be emotional. This might be personal bias because I grew up with the show, but I found The Flintstones scene to be really funny. When I heard that they were making a prequel focused on Tohru's parents, I was really excited for it. I finally got around to watching it when it got put on Crunchyroll. I was a bit disappointed that part of it was a recap though I'm glad that the recap only lasted 30 minutes. The recap did feel largely like it was only there to fill time though.
